It is a suitable mountain for people with little experience or who are in preparation before trying to climb higher mountains. This is the peak that offers the most impressive 360 ° panoramic view of the Cordillera Blanca as it is surrounded by many six thousand meter high peaks, all of which stand out from the Huascaran with its 6,768 meters above sea level.
1st day.- Huaraz (3090m.s.n.m) – Musho – Cb Huascarán (4800m.s.n.m).
We will leave Huaraz with destinations to Mancos (2530 meters above sea level) and then climb 20 kilometers of paved track to the town center of Musho, which is located in the NE part of Huaraz. In Musho, the donkeys and muleteer who will take care of our equipment await us. personal (climbing) like camping, and we will go out to Cb Huascaran (4800m). Approximately 4 hours.

2nd day.- Huascarán base camp (4800m.s.n.m) – C1 (5500m.s.n.m).
From the upper field in the moraine we will be reaching the edge of the glacier, from where we will advance upwards through a safer place, towards the base of a large Seracs barrier. Where we will install the C1 in the Glacial – day of approx. 6 – 7 hours.

3rd day.- Field 1 (5500 meters above sea level) – Field 2 (6000 meters above sea level).
This day we continue ascending directly in the direction of the Shield, which will be observed as we advance as a triangular hill of approximately 450m. Once we are in the place we will be overcoming it, climbing some sections on ice, after passing this obstacle. We will be advancing in an ascending traverse towards the Gorge, under which the C2 of Huascaran (6000m) will be installed in an area protected from avalanches. Day of approx. 6 – 7 hours.

4th day.- Camp 2 (6000 m.a.s.l.) – Cumbre Sur (6768 m.a.s.l.) – C1
We will leave camp approx. 3:00am. And we will climb corridors (65 – 70º) that will take us to the upper part of the Gorge (6010m.a.s.l.) and from this point we will be climbing long hills, and we will avoid large cracks until we reach the summit of Huascarán S (6768). Day of approx. 12 hours,

5to día.- Campo 1 (5500m.s.n.m) – Campo base (4800m.s.n.m).
Our porters will be returning the climbing materials from C1 and to the base camp and we will also be returning Cb. After arriving at Cb, you can take advantage of the afternoon to dry your personal climbing equipment such as camping equipment.

6th day.- Reservation day.
7th day.- Base camp (4800m.a.s.l.) – Musho – Huaraz. (3900m.a.s.l.) – Hostel.
After collecting our camping equipment we will be loading the donkeys to go downhill to Musho. At this place a bus from the company “Quechua Tours” is waiting for us to take us back to the city of Huaraz – Hostel.
