6:30 hr. breakfast, 8:00 trek begins. Approximately 6 to 7 hours of hiking. On the way we find the lakes ICHIC COCHA, special habitat of birds and aquatic flora and Atún Cocha that means big lake, and the view of the snowy CARAZ, PUMAPAMPA, until arriving at QUISWAR forest, which will give us shade while we have lunch, and prepare to go up to the ARHUAYCOCHA ravine where the base camp to ALPAMAYO is located, the most beautiful snow peaks in the world that are surrounded by mountains that measure more than 6000 meters above sea level, such as QUITARRAJU, JANCARRURISH, ARTESONRAJU, NEVADO AGUJA, PIRAMIDE GARCILASO. Continuing the walk we will arrive at the ARHUAYCOCHA Lake under the peaks of JANCARURISH the remains of dripping small pieces of ice. On return we will cross to the second camp TAULLIPAMPA, where we will spend the night under the watch of the imposing TAULLIRAJU that waits for us to see closer the following day from the Punta Union pass at 4785 meters above sea level.
6:30 hr. breakfast, 8:00 trek begins. Approximately 6 to 7 hours of walk. This day we climb up to the pass of Punta Union (4785 masl), from where we have splendid view from the circuit and the gorge of Santa Cruz and Huaripampa are splendid. Describing from where we trekked and where we will trek the different snow peaks mentioned ever closer and more impressive, this is the vision of the condor which on occasion fly’s over our heads on its way toward the highest peaks. Once stopped for some instants on the height 19, we begin to decend the Huaripampa Gorge by observing their enormous metamorphic formations, the different flora and the Chacraraju snow peaks. We have lunch in the Paria area under the snow peak of the same name. And finally we continue until the third camp CACHINA, from where we continue the view of the impressive TAULLIRAJU.
7:00 hr. Breakfast. 8:30 trek begins. Approximately 3 hours of hiking. This day we will leave the Huascaran National Park and go to the town of HURIPAMPA, where you will observe the countryside and villagers and we will be served the typical PACHAMANCA, cooked in the PACHAMANCA or in the earth, sharing together with the resident’s unforgettable moments, to the sound of the harp.
