Day 1: Arrival in Puno and tour of Sillusani

Arrival at the airport and transfer to the chosen hotel in Puno, on the way we will visit the Preinca de Sillustani archaeological complex that is on the shores of Lake Umayo where the impressive funerary tombs dating from the 12th and 14th century are located, belonging to the Kolla culture ( 1200-1450), better known as chullpas, which are cylindrical necropolises where the great dignitaries of the Tiahuanaco culture were buried. Then we will continue to the chosen hotel in the city of Puno for rest.

Day 2: Tour through the lake of the gods “Titicaca” (Uros floating islands and Amantani Island)

In the morning, departure from the hotel at 8:00 a.m. to the port of Puno to board the motor boats, and make an approximate 40-minute trip to visit the floating islands of Uros, the inhabitants of the area who for 500 years previously inhabited the Uros tribe taking this island to live far away of the Incas and the Kollas, where they make the reed, which is their main material to make their reed horses, which they use for fishing and for the manufacture of their houses. Then we will continue through Lake Titicaca towards the Amantani island, inhabited by natives of the Quechua language, who still live according to their ancient traditions and whose main occupation consists of ceramics and making fine fabrics. The positive energy of this island is so powerful that it is known as “the Island of Love”, and then return to the chosen hotel.

Day 3: Tour through the lake of the gods “Titicaca” (Taquile Island)

In the morning there is free time to walk around the island. We will cross from Amantani Island to Taquile Island, traveling for an average of 1 hour, the aforementioned island is inhabited by indigenous people of the Quechua language who have developed through generations an efficient and original social system, as one of the best weaving techniques. by hand in the world, we can also see numerous pre-Inca constructions, as well as platforms, the Island is very narrow, 1 km wide and 6-7 km long, where people here offer their impressive works made of fine fabrics. quality after the visit we will return to Puno to drive you to the hotel.
